The 2013 Connacht Cups and Shields Programme as been set following the 'LIVE DRAWS@ night at the McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris on November 15, 2012 and all Clubs can now clearly map out their pathway to various Cups and Shields Finals accross the numerous events.
Reaching the Cups and Shields Finals for any Club Golfer is the pinnacle of their golfing achievements and second to this is probably hosting the Finals. In 2013 the follwoing Clubs shall make their Courses and Clubhouses available to host the Finals and for this the Connacht GUI is very appreciative:
June 15 & 16, Barton Shield at Galway Bay Golf Resort;
June 29 & 30, Irish Senior Cup at Roscommon Golf Club;
July 13 & 14, Irish Junior Cup Qualifiers at Westport (North) and Ballinasloe (South)
July 26 & 27, Irish Mixed Foursomes at Ballyhaunis Golf Club;
August 10 & 11, Junior Cup, Jimmy Bruen, Pierce Purcell & Kenny Cup, at Portumna Golf Club.
