Ulster Semi-Final / Final
Kirkistown Castle 24 March 2010
The semi-final / final of the Ulster Schools Matchplay Championship 2010 was played on Wednesday 24 March at Kirkistown Castle.
Both semi finals turned out to be a one sided affair with Rathmore Grammar (Belfast)winning by a margin of 4 / 1 and the Northern Regional College (Antrim) winning by 4½ to ½.
The final however was a different affair with both sides winning 2 matches and eventually play had to be suspended after 1 tie hole in the final match due to the failing light, this was after Ryan Murray from Rathmore Grammar had won the 17th & 18th holes to take the match into tie holes.
The match will be resumed at Kirkistown Castle on a date/time to be confirmed by the Golfing Union of Ireland (Ulster Branch) in due course and will be available on this page of the web site.
