Tournament Conditions
1. The Championships shall be played for annually in accordance with the General Rules as laid down by the Connacht Branch, G.U.I. (see the Connacht Annual or the G.U.I. Tournament Conditions Booklet 2009).
2. Each School shall be permitted to enter one Team of 3 Boys (Strokeplay) and one Team of 5 Boys (Matchplay) into the event subject to each Boy being a full time student enrolled for the academic year 2008/09.
3. Age Qualification: To be eligible to compete each member of the Team muct be under 19 years of age on January 1, 2009. i.e. Born on or after January 1, 1990.
4. Handicap Qualification: Teams shall play in order of current playing handicap, and all Players shall play off Scratch.
5. No person whose age exceeds the entry age for the event may act as a caddie.
6. Prizes:
The Aggregate of the Best Four Gross Cards returned to Count towards qualification. The Top two Teams from each Zone going forward to the Provincial Finals.

Prizes at the Provincial Finals shall be presented to the Winners, Runners-up and Beaten Semi-finalists.
Special NETT Prizes shall be awarded to the, Best and second best Nett School, Best and second best Nett Individual at the Qualification Venues. Players from the Qualifying Teams are not eligible for a Nett Prize.
7. The decision of the Championship Committee is final with respect to all matters relating to the Championships.
8. Penalty for breach of Rules 3, 4, and 5 shall be Disqualification of the Player(s) concerned.
