Interprovincial Championships
The Interprovincial Championship was founded in 1939 but had a short lived life however as World War 2 stopped the event after just one staging. It would be 1956 before the event was resurrected and it has been played for every year since.
The Youths Interprovincial Championship was established in 1961 while the Boys Interprovincial Championship was started in 1993.
Inaugurated in 2010 the Boys Under 15 Interprovincial Championship will be held at Naas Golf Club.
The decision was made to combine the Seniors Interprovincial and Youths Interprovincial Championship in 2010.
Each province in Ireland enters a team, Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster. They play each other for the respective Interprovincial title.
