The Golfing Union of Ireland (Ulster Branch) Academy was developed in conjunction with CAFRE (College of Agriculture and Rural Enterprise) Greenmount Campus Antrim and opened in 2009 by; Rory McIlroy PGA Professional, P.J.Collins President Golfing Union of Ireland, G.Ivor McCandless Chairman Golfing Union of Ireland (Ulster Branch) & Michelle Gildernew MLA (Minister of Agriculture) also in the picture are Anne Wallace President Irish Ladies Golfing Union & John Fay Director CAFRE.
